About Frank Rod

Frank Rod is a Europe-based film director, producer, screenwriter, showrunner and actor with 10+ years of experience in film, advertising and audiovisual production.

His career has taken him across Italy, Russia, Kenya, Turkey and Spain, producing and directing projects in different production environments and cultures. He spent five years working in Turkey working with international crews and big projects (Cinema, Tv and Ads).

Frank is a multidisciplinary filmmaker, working both behind and in front of the camera. He combines directing, producing, screenwriting, showrunning, cinematography, acting, editing and music, allowing him to approach productions from both the creative and practical side.

He has worked on projects for Netflix, AliExpress, Finish, Clear Shampoo, Chris Brown, FunPlus and other international brands and artists. His original film Hearts of Kenya, which he directed and produced, has been licensed to Prime Video and Apple TV.

As a producer and showrunner, Frank can develop a project from concept and script through production and post-production, building and leading teams according to the needs of each project - from small crews of 5 people to larger teams of 15–50+.

Today, he also works with AI, VFX and hybrid filmmaking workflows, combining real-world production and cinematography with emerging technologies to create cinematic, flexible and efficient productions.
